Some of the specific equipment used in these projects is  available from the following--

bulletTypical control cards are available from National Instruments and Galil Motion Control.
bulletTypical encoders are available from US Digital and Dynapar.

Control voltage signals are those used to operate DC servo motors or three-phase AC motor. Most stage equipment will use the AC motors through variable speed inverter drives.

The control interface is programmed using the LabVIEW development environment for industrial automation.
